[..YouTube..] You make me proud. I grew up in the US Canal Zone in the Republic of Panama, where I was the only deaf/hoh child. The only one. I felt no sense of belonging, of knowing someone out there was like me. I was shut off. If someone had reached out to me, like in your vid, it would have changed my life.
[..YouTube..] You lived in Florida??? Where at in Florida? I love the “Don’t say no, Just say NEVER!” I think I am going to start saying that because being on campus you get asked a lot of things! LOL!
[..YouTube..] Hey RiverBirch!Aww.. that made me blush! He he.. I’m so sorry that you were shut out just because you are different, it’s sad how this world works, don’t worry about them, it’s their loss. You got great friends like me and others! :-)hugs!-SG

[..YouTube..] Hey Pslams!Good one.. try that “NEVER” from now on for any questions, he he.Yep, my family and I moved to Florida when I was 8 and grew up there in the Fort Lauderdale area until I was about 13 then moved back to CT for a year before going back to FL again until I was 16. That time, I left Florida for MSSD in DC when I was 16 and never looked back since then. My last visit down to FL was back in ’97. Long time, I know!!! :-)-SG

:IK: Very good choices to share with us. You showed that you have always been a champion for a good cause. A role model. Awesome!

That’s great experience for you to share with us about your contribution to the Deaf Community here and in Central America!
Thank you for that.
Misha
Hey Jarom,
It’s working fine on my end and I haven’t heard from anybody else about the issue.. not sure what happened? Try again and let me know if it continues.
Let’s hope it is just one time thing.
Hey Misha & LaRonda,
Thanks! You two have done wonderful to the community, too and keep it up, gals!!

Hi all! it’s Mom
I went to the Mishka Zena’s blog.and I left this comment!
My son’s “seekgeo’s vlog” brought me here to yours. I think I have done a lot for the deaf community through Geo. I raised him to never use his deafness as an excuse but to take advantage of it and show the world “just because I am deaf doesn’t mean I cannot succeed in anything I choose” and to reach out to anyone that will listen to him spread the word! That is what he has done just that. I try to always reach out to ASL adults and children when ever I see them by going up to them and introducing myself.
I am so proud of you! Guess what I am typing this without looking at the keys Yeah! love ya
SeekGeo,
Something I want to say you did brought up about yourself and your expereinced travedl to Centeral America. It is very interesting for me to understand why you went along with Jes. I am sure Jes have learn alot of your effort to taught their countries.
Nice to know about yourself and wonderful!
[..YouTube..] Wonderful vlog! I grew up in North St. Paul, they don’t have deaf community or I didn’t get involved in deaf community when I were kid. However, I have taken my school to learn about things, socializing in the ASL with my teachers, staffs, and my friends. Good times.I will try to say, “Never!” instead saying no.(chuckles)

hi geo
You did similar what i did years ago in the community except for the drugs part. It does feel rewarding for the work and effort.
Good onnya

[..YouTube..] Hi H0HSlP! Oh, I still do provide captions, actually closed captions so you just click on right bottom of corner that shows “arrow” then you will see “CC” – click on it and select English, captions will appear. From now on, all videos will be closed captions. :-D -SG

[..YouTube..] My fave part is where you say to say NEVER to drugs. This is VERY TRUE. We have a lot of druggies at my HS – and if you say NO, they will come back. Wonderful vlog!
[..YouTube..] Heythat is true. I agree with you say NEVER.
[..YouTube..] Hey
that is true. I agree with you say NEVER.
[..YouTube..] good word to say Never!!!!! better than saying NO!! cos people never let their YES mean YES or their NO mean NO! so saying NEVER might impact them and release what you mean this time, especially when it comes to harmful things like drugs or smoking!! I am new to Seekgeo so I find your info great and so cheers to you!
[..YouTube..] Hello Seekgeo I am question for ya so um did ya go to fsdb it called Florida school for deaf and blind and i live in florida and attend that school….i am curious that ya go that school before if not just let me knw thank you
