    Gawd… *trying* to gain *weight*??? 155? I struggled all my life to achieve that weight goal! :yay: After living several years in NYC I *finally* (PAH!) got down to 155… same weight when I was 14 years old. :shock: It was a very hard struggle… lots of walking, and walking, and walking, and protein (Atkins diet!) :feedme: and a little help from my friends (*sniff* *sniff* LOL). :confused: But I finally got to 155. Never felt that for a LOOooonnng time. *strange feeling* And yet I felt still so fat. More than now! It’s all a mind thing. Funny how I was, could be, finally ‘skinny’ and yet feel more fat than when after I gain so much more weight now. The mind can be funny when it comes to weight!

    Anywho, I thought I would share my experience and say how strange it was after so many years to be 155 lbs. and how still it was weird.

    It will take lots of walking or, perhaps, a little jogging to get back there again! But the question is… do I want to be… LOL :ROFL:

    Unforntetly for me I regained 2 lbs more than you. I suppose to need to loose weight another 10 lbs. I am trouble! I looked at weight scale at your video. it’s for me that I think I am FAT! we are nearly same. My husband C and I are exactly similiar weight. he was very skinny when he was play football. He was in 110 and I was 130 when we were in sophmore. I was kind of entire chubby almost whole my life after 13 yr. Tough to be loose weight and care of myself so far I lost 15 lbs and last friday I said Oh, no I regained 2 lbs. Why I am crying about 2lbs

    Aww.. man, sorry about that. It’s normal that everyday we gain or lose a couple of lbs. One day I weighed 152 then the next day it’s 154 then back to 153 then 155 yesterday and now it’s 154. I guess it varies, ha ha. I could imagine it’s easy to gain as we get older which sucks.

    :yeah: I never forget that I was senior. I was out of school for 5 weeks due I had mono during I was senior. I had to go to the hospital for my tonsils removed. Finally I got back to school then next day I graduated without any final exams. My GPA was highest 3.4 so they didn’t have me take final exams. :shock: . Guess what!!!! My weight was 139 lbs during my height was 6’2″. waist size was 26. I was sooo slim. Now my weight is 190 lbs and waist size is 33. Hoooray :yeah: I understand that you were been through as hell. thanks for share with meeee!!!!!!

    Last year,My daughter, Tara got a mono and it did not away for more than 5 month. End up with bronchitis infection and come back and then end up pnuemoina ( misspelling?)

    she lost weight this years due to stomach aches. Plan to go to Endoscope for negoiate and then dont know when her new appointment. I am not really happy about situation she still sick off and on pretty long time.

    Oh finally.. thank you for understanding what my position was because not everyone understand why I wanted to gain. I just need to have regular weight for my height. 139 for me was way too skinny.. at least for me so I am happy to where I am right now after finally gained to 155, he he.

    I know the feeling about mono, it wasn’t funny! I had mono once when I was in freshman and was out of school about 5 weeks, too. It was horrible! But anyways, glad you get to graduate, woo hoo!! :yeah:

    :wink: After I had an accident skiing, I got bit fracture on my backbone of T4. It was really pain as hell. I unable play any sports for 3 years. Tennis is one of my favorite sport, Of course I was involved with USA Deaf Tennis team almost 20 years. My weight got really gained up to 220 lbs and my waist size was 38. My partner just encouraged me to buy shorts/pants with size 38. I said No way!!! Therefore, I had to started back activites. I can’t image that it was so hard to get back to shape. My body feel like full of Jelly during played tennis. I kept fight to get back to get my everything get back normal shape. Whew :woohoo: :woohoo:

    It’s not easy to gain weight back, is it? I’ve been trying to do that since last fall. I’ve gone from 160lbs to about 180lbs. However, it doesn’t look much when I’m 6 ft and 1 inch tall. So, I’ll keep working on it as I continue to go to the gym to hit the weights, to eat more protein, and to try to get my 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.

    I’m curious to know how tall you are. I would not have guess that you’re at 155lbs by the muscularity that you’re showing in your arms. How tall are you?

    What routine do you use at the gym? And, how have you been gaining weight back?

    Well, when I was stuck at hospital back in late February to early March of this year for one whole week with no drink nor food so basically I lost 15 lbs. So I had to work hard, find ways to gain back to where I was before then.

    I finally got to where I want by eating of course and also to work out, more muscles you gain, more weights you have put in because muscles are heavier than fats, ha ha.

    This apartment have a clubhouse so have very small gym material, not much of a choice but mostly worked on arms and a little on legs. I’d like to go to gym for sure with more options but they don’t come cheap for monthly fee, oh well.

    I’m 5’9 tall so 155 is about right for muscles.

    Good luck on yours as well, you have good weight for your height. :smile:

    Yes, I’ve followed your blog for quite some time…oh probably for about a year or so. I knew that you had fallen ill and that was why you had lost so much weight.

    Isn’t it great that muscles are heavier than fats are? They allow us to eat more without getting fatter. :grin:

    That’s too bad that the apartment’s clubhouse is not so well equipped. Well, if you want to figure out a way to create your own gym, then I’d recommend Nate Green’s “Built for Show” book. Not only is it a great guide for building a stronger, a more fit, and a more physically attractive body, it also offers variations of exercises to do for the entire body. Most of these exercises come with a set of instructions: of how to do it at a gym and how to do it at home or in a gym that doesn’t have many equipment.

    Thanks. I’m hoping to keep increasing my poundage and keep improving with my journey of being more fit and more physically active.

    Good luck with you and your goal of hitting 160lbs!

    P.S. I forgot to say that the reason why I’ve been following your blog for so long is because I found that watching you sign in your blogs was educational as I was using the captions to inform me new signs that I didn’t know and as I was improving my receptive skills of understanding ASL…both helpful for my job where I’ve been learning ASL as another language.
