wow awesome video of the fishies… i loved your video… soo cute and i loved the short clip u did on clown fish… that was a huge place i bet. glad u had a wonderful vacation out in east visiting with your family… i enjoy all other videos you shared with us too…
The Atlanta Acquarium reminds me of the one on Maui, but Atlanta’s is much larger of course. So terribly interesting and remarkable that they can create something so marvelous for us to enjoy.
Wow. This is SG’s first music video! Soundtrack to the video! I imagine it had Jes’ handywork on it! ;-)
Anywho, based on the comments tonight, everyone else was marvelling at your video, but I was SCARED!!! Why? Growing up I loved water, the pool, swimming. As a kid my family always went to the Jersey shore. I loved going into the ocean. I spent my summers swimming at my pool. That’s how I got all my freckles! :-)
Then one day, I was at the Jersey shore with my family. I was swimming in the ocean and I got *sucked* under by an “undertoe” wave. I was saved because a guy, by chance, was standing right behind me and I got caught between his legs (just like a sieve). He said he was sorry and apologized, but when I came up for air I told him, “You saved my life.” He was still demure (bless him!). I thought for sure I would be sucked out to sea. Ever since then I have been aquaphobic. I only wish I could tell that guy to this day how grateful I am that he was there.
BUT, I never let my fears conquer me. I used to belong to a gym that had a swimming pool. I love swimming! But after 10 minutes each time I swam in it, I had to get out because of a fear. Irrational fear, but terror nonetheless. Funny how phobias can be so overpowering.
Yes, I’m still freaked out by massive quantities of water. I went with my nephew to an aquarium that had a tunnel like the first scene in in your video, and I nearly had a nervous breakdown. I had to run out and ask everyone with me if they would promise to never make me do that ever again. To this day, that is the only thing I can’t do in person.
I can’t even watch undersea stuff on tv.
However, tonight I was able to not only watch the stuff, but also deal with the “tunnel.”
Just wanted to say thanks for helping me conquer my greatest fear!
I’ve got 2 nieces now and I think I might ask them to go to the Aquarium!
Jes did good job making this video so do you too! I didn’t realize that Atlanta has Aquarium even though I have been there few times. I’ll go there someday.
wow! reminds me of the time I went to Sydney Aquarium & Zoo. they had a tunnel the same as in Atlanta! also in Perth too! i remember I was so awe with that! as I love goldfish, been keeping them for the last 20 years since 1989. so any city i go, I must go to check the Aquarium. when I was in Australia, I went to the Aquarium in each city and my Aussie friends thought I was crazy but that’s where I feel at home! cheers.
last July 4th weekend, we were vacationing in Nashville , TN for our family reunion ( my dad’s side ). John took me out to the Aquaruim restaurant for my birthday which is in Nashville, Tenn. It was huge !! we enjoyed watching them while eating our dinner … so beautiful there .
