I on the other hand use my hearing aids similar to what you said but than again I have been wearing them since I was 5 and psychologically speaking they actually help me pick up sounds and lip read people better than when I don’t have them on. I guess it is because I need to rely on them and have have been all these years.

Nah i will not take hearing aid cuz easy get bad headache i decided no more wear it thats why!!! good idea about it smile i wish same things you but i cnat take it!! hearing aid become web now giggle
[..YouTube..] :) Likewise. One time I went canoeing and I told the girl in front of me to just relax as I steer and do some paddling in the back. She relaxed, the paddle goes to the front and sweep through the water to my backside and I heard a swish The canoe lurked forward and I heard a whoosh I loved the sound!!! (we were not suppose to wear aids due to canoe could flip over but I risked it) Anyways.. it was the most beautiful sound I have ever heard!My baby’s laughter is so wonderful too :)

[..YouTube..] lol i love the way you express your way through video games make me wanna laugh! love it! i don’t like hearing aids because of ear wax lol… i can hear just fine without them even with youtube, the phone just now lol or any sounds on the computer really lol so what the use for hard of hearing
[..YouTube..] Hearing aids are not a wise investment for a ‘treatment’ hearing loss. Hearing aids require batteries which are costly to the environment and its power is not efficient, nor reliable. Scientists should have the knowledge to use stem cell for the cure for hearing loss as well as paralysis. hearing aids makers are not knowledgeable in the understanding that hearing aids is no substitute for the value of a cure.
[..YouTube..] My 13-year-old son is deaf but hears with CIs. I think he might remember hearing aids a little bit — he got his second ear CI 5 years ago. He knows a little sign too. I showed him this video and he really loved the part about the shooting video games. That was pretty funny — thanks! I also asked him if he could follow any of the ASL but he said that he was really mostly just reading the captions (except in the video game part, of course.)
