22Frames Rocks!
It is a website that includes several videos that have captions available and even silent videos, too. So rather than going through sites such as youtube and searching for which videos have CC/Subtitle available, you can find them all at once.
Just go to 22frames and enjoy these videos that can meet your needs/desires.
Now, it is my favorite website of all after testing for a few weeks, it works great! So way to go, 22frames!
You will see these icons next to each videos:
: It means that the video is captioned.
: It means that the video is silent, no captions needed. Note: Some videos might have song in the background but still can enjoy “silent” videos.
Click here that explains more about 22frames and how it works.
And even cool feature coming up, click here regarding Video Alerts where it will alert you via email that fits your preference on type of categories when a new video comes up.
Instead of going to youtube, etc then search for CC/Subtitles like I used to, now I go to 22frames to sit back and enjoy my day watching videos!
Now, you see why 22frames rocks so check it out. Even if you are hearing, you’d still enjoy watching if can’t or don’t have speakers on.
Keep in mind, it’s pretty new so feel free to leave them any feedback, etc. Feedback will always be appreciated.

[..YouTube..] I totally agree though. It is really hard to find videos that has CC or even OC “open captions” It makes me just mad though i even sent several emails to Youtube as a complain about adding CC feature in here. But you can get CC but most of the videos it says “captions not available” which is like urgh! Sigh, anyways….that’s pretty much it..i feel good now that i let it all out lmao thanks Geo

[..YouTube..] awesome dude. Thanks for sharing that as I am tired of seeing videos on herre that says it has subtitles or CC but yet there aren’t any at all. Maybe they did have them in there before but they removed them and the people forgot to change the title of the video and change the tags that say CC or subtitles? But either way thanks again

[..YouTube..] Thanks !!!
November 21st, 2009 at 1:22 pm
[..YouTube..] that’s neat… but thanks :D
November 21st, 2009 at 3:02 pm
[..YouTube..] What is open caption?
November 21st, 2009 at 3:07 pm
[..YouTube..] if you watch old videos of Geo..he has open caption in yellow
November 21st, 2009 at 3:07 pm
[..YouTube..] i totally agree with you handsome.
November 21st, 2009 at 3:10 pm
[..YouTube..] Thank you, my friend. :)
November 21st, 2009 at 3:41 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey River,Staraction is correct, open caption means you can’t turn it on or off like old videos of mine. But now with closed captions I provide with youtube feature, you can turn it off or on whatever you like. I personally prefer closed captions over open captions.-SG
November 21st, 2009 at 3:43 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey smokingmonkey,Got that right! One time, there was a title that says (CC) but no captions so I emailed that user asking perhaps he/she forgot or something.I got a reply back stating that CC means something else. I was like… okay?-SG
November 21st, 2009 at 3:52 pm
[..YouTube..] CC means something else? News to me. LOL
November 21st, 2009 at 3:52 pm
[..YouTube..] Thank you Star
November 21st, 2009 at 4:00 pm
[..YouTube..] Why do you prefer cc over oc? Don’t you always want them on? I do unless it is a baseball game and I need an unobstructed view of play.
November 21st, 2009 at 4:11 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey River,Oh ya, I always have my CC on but the whole point is I like to have options open for everyone to turn it on or off which is why I use that feature rather than open captions.Like you said unless it is a baseball game, you’d like it to be off, you can turn it off with CC but OC, you are basically stuck with it being on. LOL-SG

[..YouTube..] True, another part of your view for equality, that everyone has their right. Good point, Geo.

November 26th, 2009 at 8:06 am
I always new that there were other videos besides CC that I could watch and hearing people do. There is so many and I wonder how their technolgies work???
November 26th, 2009 at 6:36 pm
[..YouTube..] Did you see the article about the new format of youtube videos? Any person that makes a talking video automatically has a closed caption video now. A deaf guy made it. No more problems lipreading!
November 26th, 2009 at 6:39 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey ltxx,Yep, read about it however since it is fairly “new” so there are going to be a lot of flaws for years to come, though. They stated if they knew it works great, they couldn’t have had typists to do CC for movies/shows by now. :-DI am looking forward to it for sure but we all gotta expect to see flaws especially with different accents, etc. I guess that’s how all new techs r like every time they come out, right? LOL-SG
November 26th, 2009 at 6:41 pm
[..YouTube..] They’ll probably have fun with my accent and stuttering. :(
November 26th, 2009 at 6:42 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey ltxx,Aw.. don’t think like that! :-P Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, tho!! Hugs-SG

I have been reading about the YT auto caption/timing feature. Seems like it will only do a relatively decent job if you do the auto-timing — i.e. you have the transcripts already and don’t want to go through the labour of syncing the text with speech. All over, you will read that having a computer attempt to recognise natural speech is far from being reliable.
Seek Geo,
I see that no one is mentioning anything on the YT comments page about the spanking illusion. However, I clicked the Reddit comments link on the 22 page and there seems to be discussion on how it works.
November 27th, 2009 at 12:23 pm
Ah.. so basically, only way to make it work is to have transcript ready to submit? I didn’t know that.
Gotta look for an article about how it works then.

[..YouTube..] Thanks!! you are the man!! I have learned a great deal from you!! please stay alive and keep it up!! how did you know about 22 frames???
November 28th, 2009 at 10:24 pm
[..YouTube..] Hey deafrocket,Many thanks! Actually, they contacted me regarding their new website so we worked together in past weeks since we both have same desires about captions in general. :-D-SG
