[..YouTube..] I have been both since I am HOH/Deaf, but you have double being gay. I got beat up and called a freak. But they are not the same, to me. Physical can be healed, emotional/verbal cannot…. for along time.

[..YouTube..] Ahhh, we have a common ground. I have been verbally abused A LOT for my religious choices. But of course we all know, when people are that way – they want to try to draw attention away from their own insecurity! Eventhough you seem to have had some hardships, you seem to be doing well & happy now :) I wonder where those people are in life? :/Respect, more people should learn it! Peace be upon you SeekGeo :)

Hi Seekgeo It does make senses.. right.. i learned something about that two kind different bashers and abused. thank yu for sharing..
very strong point…(River) Physical abuse can not be healed… No abuse can… It leaves a mark forever, not a noticable one but one the victim must carry around forever. Abusers & Bashers have no self esteem. It is a cycle handed down from generations and must be stopped.

Hello, I went thru hell by being abused and bashed emotionally, verbally and mentally at school… my religion (judaism) and weight plm. I sufferred badly, but I managed to stand thru until I graduated with honors. I was proud to be a Valeictorian. I felt good because I refused to lose the war to them. I believed that when they did to me, it could happen to them. It happened.
I still believe it.

We often try call companies, resturant, stores, or etc. but they end up hang up on us no matter how important our calling is. Just dislike the disability, making us wish so bad that we are not deaf for a second so we can do something or are thirsty for a knowledge …right? uh? Because people will often say “Never mind”
It doesn’t matter if we get abused at home, we still be abused / bashed in spirit (we just wanna oppuronity to prove we can do anything , but no one lets us, so our spirit get bashed) SAD!

A lot ppl can’t believe that I can success , but when I went thru public school and became graduation with honor , they were shocked. I were looking at them “what are you staring for? it is just easy as ABC!” you should see their speechless faces because they thought I couldn’t do public school but deaf or handicapped class , LOL. YEA RIGHT….

Glad you managed to stand though and made the honor, WTG! I agree that nothing should stop you or me or anybody in fact from doing what we love to do. Well said and keep going.
It’s funny that when I bring up “abuse” to some bashers and they freaked out saying no way bashing and abusing can be similar in some ways. But I stated that I still see them (bashers) the same as abusers in many ways.
This is exactly why I went ahead to make this video to prove the fact that bashers and abusers have several things in common.
I quoted like I said in video:
“So, anyone who bashes or support the idea of bashing which means they also support the concept of abusing as well.”
Geo, again you have made a wonderful post! It must have been very tough for you to make it.
As you know, I have suffered my own form of abuse by a Baptist deaf ministry that acted a lot like a CULT. When my former deaf pastor (who’s now a pastor in a Church of Christ of Rochester, MN) placed a guy named Lance Fabela in my town house, Lance was an abuser and a basher. He took control of my home. He abused my roommates. At one point, we had one fight in which he would have killed my former best friend had I not stepped in and took the blows to my teeth. (my smile ruined). Another fight took place in which he gave me a double black eye right before I was to meet my girlfriend’s mom. My home was destroyed inside. My ex-pastor did everything in his power to make sure I wouldn’t press charges. Every day, I wish I had called the police and let the law take care of it all.
I’m sure Lance’s wife would want to know his violent past very much. My deaf pastor wasn’t so lucky. He was fired.
When a differnt deaf baptist pastor abused me, that’s when I got up and changed. I’m changed. I’m no longer part of the baptist ministry. I love someone and will defend him very much.
But the next time some one abuses a gay friend of mine or me, they better watch out for me, a bull dog now. My bark is worse than my bite!
I had the most odd, weird, and strange message to let you to know about what bully person said to me…
I had lot of confidence because bully person’s word means nothing to me so I talk with person who bullied people in the school.

Bully person: I bullied people so they can change and become better person…

Aw man, sorry for what you had to go through.
I know what you mean regarding press charges. Sometime I looked back and said how I have wished to press charge on somebody. Don’t let anyone change for who you are or your life, just be yourself and stand up what you believe and be who you are.

Oh that’s funny.. I’m not surprised. Basically a basher or should I say “bully person” as well bullied others only because they want others to be same as him.
If I like the color of silver, somebody will bully me until I change my favorite to his favorite which is blue.
That’s an example. They just can’t accept for the fact that everyone is different.

Steve, it is horrible things about deaf pastor seem not appropriate to control of your life.
One things it was bother me for long time on my husband, Who CSCDHH is now closed for a good since they were lack of fund to not stay up for Deaf community. What I have hear and kind of rumor about CSCDHH and the one lady who abused to 6 couple and called them low functions.
Six couple have been complained to deaf therapist. I fired her because she did not reported to Office Deafness Hard of hearing to protected to us or 6 couples. Unfortunately, ODHH did not step and need to stop them to stop abused on 7th couples. Now changed to HSDC. CSCDHH closed since 5 years ago.
I am really disappointed ODHH did not do anything to protect these 6 couple by one lady. I cannot name. because of my reputation is UGLY and need to move on and help the 6 couple to against the lady. But one problem I cannot get a information from them because private names. the only one lady need stop bashing on 6 deaf couple as low functions.
Earlier I wrote about one lady abused on my husband because he is too busy awfully. The lady demand him to come to her office. I said my husband have a two job. you cannot demand to have him to come with me. I am only one to deal with doctor office who accused me and embarrassing pr harassing Chris on the the phone. CSCDHH failed to stopped the clinic abused on Chris. ODHH never fire all of the staff into correction as professional.

Geo; I have a confession. I used to be a bully, abuser, and basher. I was bulled on then I became a bully to my cousin.. she kind of bashed me verbally and I hit her leg one time then I started to verbally criticize her on everything she did.
Result: we aren’t really in a great relationship but we still talk. I wish she could see me as a sister because we grew up together but nope.
I abused a boyfriend and we are married now lol I have been a good girl for 5 years. He did not push me away, he grabbed me and hugged me tightly when I was on the verge to slap him *that’s his point of view of abuse*
I don’t know how you feel about me being your friend now lol I honestly am a good person… I just was hurt so much I kind of react back in a violence manner :/ With hard working and will power, I have conquered that demon and a friend of mine went through the same thing *abusing a bf* and we were able to relate to each other… plus she said that she saw how much I have improved in myself, in my life, and many more. I am proud that I am getting better and I am very happy my husband doesn’t reset me.
There is a word I learn 2 weeks ago that best describe “putting people down” sign language is “trifling”
That’s my favorite word :)
Good vlog and I encourage everyone to reduce being mean and take thing as a grain of salt because at the end I learn that jealousy is a big reason among people who become bashers/abusers.

Oh believe me, I have been once a basher and abuser based on how I grew up. So the whole point, I grew out of it and so did you, that’s what it all matter.
Some people especially bashers/abusers would continue to bash/abuse even in their 30′s, 40′s or even 50′s these days is just so… sad. They just never grow up. We all make mistakes while growing up but some people never learn from it like we did.
I’m glad to grow out of it and sound like good thing you did so of course you are still my friend! Big hugs

[..YouTube..] I think alot of this behaviour is manifested in narcissistic personalities… People have a need for more than power and control, narcissists have an intense need for IMPORTANCE… I guess the other qualities (power, control) feed into this intense need to be BETTER, and MORE IMPORTANT than everyone else. My grandmother was a narcissist. Horrible person. Horrible people to have to live with especially growing up.BTW, how’ve you been since I’ve been without a computer? Miss me? LOL
