Great Movie: Babel Included Deaf Parts

Summary: We watched a movie the other night called Babel and we really loved it. I was shocked to see that there is deaf part in it so I’d recommend it if you haven’t seen it. If you did see it, what is your thoughts? FYI: Babel involved a lot of nudity.

[..YouTube..] Babel is an old movie. haha You must be behind in movies as I never miss the new releases as I am a die hard movie freak and by the way that “deaf” girl is not deaf. She is hearing. You know there are hardly any deaf actors in hollywood as they would rather pay hearing people to do it. It’s a disgrace and bullshit that they think that deaf people cannot act out a deaf part when we are deaf ourselves. It’s the name that counts as directors don’t want to hire someone unknown.

I agree that it is pretty frustrating to the point where they hired hearing instead of deaf. But at the same time, it was a good movie though and at least many signs used and all.
I wonder whether if the rest of girls were deaf or all still hearing acted as deaf students? Hmm…
