Can’t wait to see the second part of interview!
Interesting that you kept your dairy and journals, it is a great way to express your true inner feeling.
In fact, I know one guy from my school started his dairy or journal when he was a kid. He told me that he was amazed how big improvement his English had been in over time from age 9 to 15 or later. I believe that is true to practice the English skills by reading and writing.

About schooling, I hope you’ll go back to school eventually if you really want to.

    Misha :)

Wow cool, good interview there… I look forward to more videos about ur interview… that neat that MLK was ur role model, i used to write an poetry about Martin Luthur King at school when i was at NSD… there was also one boy from high school who drew a picture looking like MLK for school project, he did real good with that… I like writing journals too, i have a journal about each day i was on vacation in nebraska visiting my family, it was something i did each night, i would write a journal to remember what i did in nebraska, visiting my family… I am glad i did that… theres times i often wondered if i should have wrote an journal about each day i did since i was a real little kid, that would be neat.

  3. Lantana says:

Geo, you have the ideal personality for vlogging. Someday we will all be proud to say, “I knew Geo when he first started out”.

    You are a natural!

    Lantana

  4. Misha says:

I agree with Lantana! Geo has a GREAT and likable personality! Also, great chrisma as well.

    Misha

  5. Seek Geo says:

    Hi Misha,

Oh, yeah.. I felt the same when I read my journals and I couldn’t believe with my own eyes how so much different comparing present and past the way how I write english.

When I started blog last year for family and a few friends only, I did share some of my journals but had to remove them off when I joined vlog world. I don’t mind sharing some one of these days to post on blog so I can have them on the internet in case I lost books.

Aw, Lantana. I was glad to meet you, too! I look foward for one of these days to get together with you again!

  6. Seek Geo says:

    Hey Rita!

When my english teacher at MSSD asked us to write about our role models, I choose MLK and I studied a lot about him, I was amazed and still am how he actually brought the whole community as well as other communities together to support each other and changed for the better.

So, I’ve always dreamed like this for Deaf community to work together but will that happens? Sure, it can.. but it is up to them.

  7. FairLady says:

It’s fun to go back in time travel thru looking at vlogs/blogs. I know I will chuckle again and again if I watch those taste tester episodes. It is too damn funny to watch you try them.. But still *turning green being sick*

I have my own books/journals as well. I think I start blogging/vlogging in Jan 2006. So far I really enjoy it and looking back. Plus it is so much easier to add graphic or photos when you can’t do it in the book. You can but it won’t be the same as on computer/online. :)

As for role model. I think you pick a good choice. I’m not so sure if I have one. I will have to think.

  8. Seek Geo says:

    Hey FairLady,

Yep, I agree that it is much easier to add photos, etc on the internet over books so I’m very grateful to start blogging last year. I even backup everything in case this site is lost!

I can’t wait in 20 years to come back and remember everything in life what I do right now.

    Gotta be fun!

  9. FairLady says:

Oh, I forgot to mention about the last question. I’m going to say you are not alone in this one. It seems to be the most common thing that most people that have gone thru that feel that way. Some dropped out. Some left for some reason and never went back. Very high percents of them feel they regret it or want to modify it. It is always about college or education path.

  10. Tassielady says:

Well done on the first interview and i dont blame you Geo about dropping out of University .. same with me i dropped out of College to complete teacher’s aide and had 1 more year to go but then i just went elsewhere. I didnt regret it as the education system here in australia sucks and constantly changing so i decided to leave it behind of my experience.
Will be looking at the 2nd interview next week or maybe i bag Fairlady to show me early  hehe

  11. Seek Geo says:

    Hi Tassielady!

True, that is positive thinking that there is no need to regret, aw about the education in Australia, you are so brilliant!

But.. to beg Fairlady to show early? Well, good luck because she is one tough girl!!

  12. Tassielady says:

Oh i know she is a tuff cookie that fairlady but she knows i tend to ask if her legs is shaved and if she said yes .. you know the rest lmao  im just one naughty aussie gal  but hey dont get the wrong idea .. we not lesbo lol Im straight as !!

  13. SB says:

    Hi Geo,
    Nice vlog as always..

It is never too late to go back to college. You can take some courses neary your home. Maybe while waiting for a job or change career?
I went back to college myself too at age 42 and graduated with BA at age 48. Not too bad.
To be honest Im glad I did. You could too. You are still young.

Since Jes is into medical school and maybe you could too. You are very intelligent young guy. Working in medical fields makes good income and very good benifits too.

Now days Medical fields is hot market for jobs opporunity for you and Jes ;-)
    Good luck
    SB

  14. Seek Geo says:

    Hi SB!

Congrats on getting BA! You are right, it is never too late for sure. Ha… really I don’t know if I’d want to get into medical field since I’ve been in for over 6 years and as for college, I will wait and see how I feel.

Both of us can’t afford going to college at same time so Jes comes first since he have only a year and half to go to become RN then we can see from there.

Who knows we’d move to East Coast or wherever he lands a job as RN anywhere in America. I can wait until then.

    Deafpulse.com

You puzzle me there with your comment :?: :?: :?:

  16. Seek Geo says:

    Hi Tassielady,

I’m puzzled, too.. it’s pingback which means it was adds to comment automatically when someone added a link to my site on their site. Every time, Deafpulse added my post link to their site, it added on here.

So, I’m working on to stop this.. I will figure something. :-)

  17. Tassielady says:

Ahhhhhh at least it was not my eyes going funny hehe

Im sure you will work it out … im stilla puter dummy so i let my partner do the fixing

  18. mandy says:

Hey Fairlady! I think you did an awesome job. I was interested and to tell you the truth I don’t even know who GEO is!!LOL!!!
Hope y’all are all doing well.
    Lots of love,
    Aunt Mandy

  19. FairLady says:

Aww, Aunt Mandy.. Thanks!! I’m glad to see you post comment.. :) Love ya!!

  20. Dixie says:

I really encourage you to return to school if you can, you can even take some courses online. To avoid the scam artists selling you bogus degrees, look up your local community college’s website or even your local university and go to the course catalog and the class schedules, they should have any online courses listed, so this way you can still work a full time job and still work on completing your degree. I personally plan on getting a better paying job in the next year or two and when I do I will have enough money saved up to pay for part time tuition and plan on taking whatever courses I can online wherever possible this way I can still be at home with my daughter and less driving for me. Whatever you choose to do, I wis you the best of luck.

  21. Bill Roderick says:

I remember about your past in Long Island where you went to school. You were broke but I think you should have asked for student loan to pay for school and etc, right? If you get student loan for school in LI then would it be helpful? I like your role model and you keep cracking me and people up when you explain through many vlogs. Laughter is the best medicine! Right? :)
    Keep it up!

  22. Seek Geo says:

    Hey Bill Roderick,

Yeah, I got student loans but it went over the limit. Since Long Island Univ is a private school so it costs around 30′s a year so I can’t afford to get bunch of loans for total of two years, he he.

  23. Deaf Pixie says:
