Geo,
Yes, It is my favorite place to relaxing over there if you Hang out with your one of friend or family. You can go to watch the bay. the ferries of about 5 every an less hour. sometime less 30 minutes. Depend on what town you want to take a ferries you can bring your car along. But, cost about 10 dollars for car into the ferries and travel to Port Angeles or Edmonds from to Port Angels. sometime other ferries to. forgot how to spelling the two of towns. Another ferries goes to Brainbridge Island. There is really events. Remind you that the fares has been raised up for gas issues.
Geo, I am tried to go to Russian donount. I have not eat it for long time about 5 or 7 years ago. I don’t know if they still have open “small cafe” without window. I don’t remember at all. last time I went there two years. I am awfully busy with teenagers. They often kidnapped me for anything their pleasure. One of my daughter’s friend’s mother who selling the jewelry by homemade. Their parents came from Peru South America. Interesting. You can buy a small things to sell your own and have to ask Pike Market.
How much I missed them. I like in June-August to go there in Pike Market every summer. So many people and the tourist come from other state or country. Pike Market is kind of unqine store with different path under Pike Market.. about 100 store and Beautiful place. That’s why I choose lives in Seattle. I’ve been lives more than 23 years .. Chris, my husband’s birthplace, too. but his brothers of Five. they born in Portland and one California. Chris’ friend thought Chris born in California. It is error information by their friend were assumed. Long story!
I accepted that Chris is not feeling belongs to Seattle. I have been thought about moving to Oregon or outside of Seattle. because Everett is much cheaper to buy a house. Seattle is OUCH!!!! Cost about over 400 thousand dollars to buy a house. In fact we don’t have our own house. Sad. We lives in Rent house 15 year in this month. That’s sucker!
Remind you who is fan of Seek geo. Come and visit the city of Seattle. you can looking at http://www.pikeplacemarket.org/frameset.asp?flash=true
I hope you have a pleasure to view of the website. There is more than. I am tried to go to Undergound near Pioneer Square. There is the historical about underground. First things they plan to closed it because of earthquake. It was happened 6.8 earthquake in Olympia. but now they fixed it and now solved it. Don’t be fear and go to looking underground. There is soooo interesting to go Underground about how start Seattle growth and some of historical back around 1885′s? not sure correct about years. The Seattle.
I thought all of deaf tourist can be peaceful to escaped from your hometown. I took my sister to come here and .. Get fun for your own time. or Missed the Seattle whole things.
Few month ago, I learn that tourist came in Seattle about 40 thousand tourist came in Seattle. I was surprised how popular tourist and thought kind of similar to East Coast?

AWESOME!
Oh that was so fun! I felt like i was right there with you! How cool to have captured the bird’s tricks, the live crawfish (?) and the donut guy tossing the last one in the bag from high in the air! It was neat to see how people communicated with you and that some of the workers used some signs. You responded with such a positive attitude. It was an enjoyable trip! Thanks for taking us along! Encore!

Welch’s ASL Juice!
You can come back again. It has been almost always changed alot from 1980′s I moved here from Oregon and three years later I left Seattle and I missed terrible with old friend. I decide moved back, again. I think Seattle is perfect match for me. I am easy going and mellow. Little lazy.
I love summertime in Seattle. Most breezy and keep watch the ferries when I drove on south on 99 HWY when the sunrise or sunset.
Welch’s ASL Juice!, You should come back and get fun, again .. Involved with deaf church in Everett. I am not quiet sure what is reglious. I dont mind to help you out and they always welcome between Everett and Renton. I know the people pretty well. but not attented Church. Something I missed alot of meeting deaf. I am too busy with teenager daughter of two.
I am now worn out. Good nite! it is 7:28pm .. I am now poofy!

Hi mat,
Thanks for the link to Pike Market, it’s great site!
Oh yeah about the donut, they did close for a few weeks (or months), whichever I cannot remember due to machine issue. I heard something about the machines were broken and they cannot afford to replace a new one for a while, I’m not sure to be exact what really happened, though.
So finally they are back in business now.
YAY!

Oh I bet it was nice when you lived a few blocks from Pike Market, I’m jealous! It’s so expensive living in the area nowadays.
If you go there again and see fish flying, take some pictures. ;-)

Geo,
Last night Chris told me to watch local news of KOMO and was filmed to one of family from S.Fransico. They bought the ticket for Space Needle. They won for travel to Paris. because they bought for 45 millions tourist went to Space Needle since… I don’t know how long they have been wait for 45 millions tourist. Anyway, They got a “Seattlie”. I am not quiet sure how to spelling with “Seattlie”
The family were surprise and they traveled to Seattle from S.Fransico. How lucky they got a free ticket for Paris. Father of family was not expected .. I just envey and always go travel.
Margaret
Tim,
Are you part of russian? I usually go to Russia’s pastries.
But,I have not buy the pastries everyday! I love one of recipe my grandmother made one of pastries with cottage cheese with sugar and fold as box then half of them and put it in boil water. and few mintues and take out .. she say eat it with Russian tea.
I asked her why? she replied I am full Russian and know their culture of Russian but, your great grandparent come from Czech. she say Eat it now .. so I ate it.. it was sooooo good! I thought gross with sugar in cottage cheese combine and put it on pastries, then boil water. so it cooked well. I was very amazing and love it.. Sad I never know where I can get a recipes.
:(
My silbing say never heard of that. Grandma never tell them. I learn that my grandma’s favorite granddaughter, it was me. I never knew!
